    Usually our instructor just wants us to look in the Kardex for the information of all pt that other students are assigned to. Organize and prioritize all info on one sheet of paper to keep in your pocket. Determine which pt's need to be seen first by the severity of the medical diagnosis, and nursing actions like dressing changes etc. Our instructor likes to see us ask other students about lab values that relate to the pt, VS, and focused assessment. Just try to keep in mind not to panic because there is usually help around the corner from the other students. Just be confident in what you present to your instructor and you should be fine....Good Luck!!!
