  1. how are you doing in your 3rd semester, lilrn?? 2nd semester has been ok. you're right, definitely a lot more info but i think the fact that the anxiety from 1st semester is gone makes a world of difference. i'm getting through this easier than i think i got through last semester. how is 3rd? and how was the pn predictor? i'm stressing about that one. did you did for your lpn boards? if so, how was that? hope you're breezing by and thanks again for all of your helpful input!!!
  2. hi! does anyone out there know what the schedule looks like for 3rd semester? i'm about to start my 2nd semester and just trying to see how things will/won't change next semester! thanks!
  3. haven't been on here in a bit so i just wanted to thank you, lil rn, for all of this great info! super nice of you to keep coming on here and sharing what you know! and congrats on your semester grades!! that's awesome!! how do you think the semester was overall? tough? easier than 1st? i got the schedule for 2nd semester and you were so right...a TON packed into that first week!!! but i'm super excited about starting in OB. what does the 3rd semester schedule look like? is it stil 3 days? it's so tough trying to plan your life around this program!! :)
  4. hi lilwannabeRN - can you tell me what your 2nd semester schedule looks like? i'm finishing my first semester and heard that we go down to 3 days after this. you're sweet to post all of this for all of these girls. the not knowing was the HARDEST when you are waiting to get in!!! and congrats to all of you girls! let me tell you first hand it's TOUGH. it is. don't underestimate it because when you go to orientation they're going to tell you that you won't see your friends or family for the next two years. it's a slight exaggeration, i'll admit, but they're not kidding about the time commitment. there's so sliding by. you HAVE to put in the time if you want to pass with at least an 80%. brace yourself and you'll all do great!!!
  5. For those of you that got in...how many times did you apply? Did you get in on the first try? And....congrats :)!
  6. thanks so much. was this your first time applying? i'm just so disappointed and wish i knew if i should continue at jjc.
  7. lilwannabern - would you be willing to share you application stats? I applied and was denied. My test scores were well above the averages of students accepted but my GPA was below. I have 4 of the 6 pre-req's and am in A&P II right now. Just curious. Trying to understand it. Thanks!
