  1. I got my email as well! See you this summer!!
  2. Did you end up applying for this summer 2015? I applied, but am not feeling too confident. I was hoping to know by now.
  3. Let us know if you all hear anything. I was thinking maybe today...but I think that everyday!
  4. I also applied to this program for Summer of 2015. I have not heard anything yet. The suspense is killing me! I did see that the summer schedule is up and those accepted will have their first class on June 1st.
  5. The house looks nice. Thanks for the info. We live off base here, but I kind of miss living on base at times. However, even our base house overseas that was for a SrA was bigger than 1000 sqft. That is great that your stuff came so fast as well.
  6. I was wondering where you were working there. I am sure you are not settled yet, but I was wondering what you know about the availability of base housing there? Did you even consider base housing?
  7. SeekirRN, Would you mind letting me in on how they are getting orders for your husband together. Are they giving him an assignment along with your assignment? Are you headed to Elmendorf without him? Did you still get choice of base with him being active duty or are they saying wherever they can get you both is where you will need to go? I would love to hear about how that process is going for you as my husband is active duty as well. We are at Tinker. Thank you in advance for any info!
  8. I love the sock bun! Someone asked me what one was about a month ago and now I know! I was wondering if your husband and kids (if you have any) traveled with you to Lackland, ahead of time, or if they are still to follow? Was anyone in your class duel active? My husband is active duty Air Force (enlisted) and I was wondering how that might affect us as far as duty station and PCS is concerned. Luckily he is Comm so his job is available most places. Congratulations on graduation...the information you are providing is wonderful. Be sure to keep us updated as to how things are going there at Lackland. I was wondering how the whole merger and closure of things over there is going to end up working out. Oh and for whoever was headed to the marine base...you might check out the clothing sales there just in case. Here at Tinker we have all of the branches stuff in BX clothing sales place. The selection is more limited but you can even get the rank, insignia, and ribbons for the others.
  9. They accepted my A & P I and II at OSU-OKC. I also am very happy with the level of education that I am recieving at OSU-OKC. I had the choice to go to OU or OSU-OKC and chose the cheaper of the two. Hindsight being 20/20, as happy as I am with the school, I am planning on going for my RN-BSN and had I gone with OU I would be getting that already without having another year of school ahead of me.
  10. I am a tech while I am going to nursing school. I respect all the nurses, but am happiest to work with the ones who will help me move a patient or get them a drink if the patient happens to ask them for it. I am not happy when a nurse comes out of a patient room to find me and says, "106 asked for a drink." It seems that in the time it took them to find me, they could have easily grabbed the drink for them. Most of all, I just want to hear pleases and thank yous!
  11. Thank you for the info. I figured that it would count as six months and that is fine. My main concern was that of NTP. Of course this is a question I will ask my recruiter when the time comes, but there is no sense in contacting them just yet.
  12. I am preparing to graduate with my Associate in Nursing Degree. I am going to then be going directly into an RN to BSN program while I work full time at a local h ospital. My question is this...with one year experience as and RN (but not with a BSN) will I still be required to do the NTP or will my year of experience count? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
