Saralou! its okay...don't beat yourself up too hard.we did our registration and talked about the program in general.you will also want to get your orientation packet 'cos there are some forms you will need to fill out.

I haven't taken patho myself...so its not only you!!!.

Saralou, I heard we will be using a new textbook by the same author coming out in Nov this year! But its not a bad idea to bring it to the orientation though...you can never tell!!!!!

Hey Plasma...no i couldn't.I didn't see myself getting back from dallas on time to pick up my daughter from daycare,considering all the construction going on around parkland and the horrible traffic.

Well,I think the best way to get in touch with current student in the weekend program is to go down to dallas campus on friday;class starts by 5pm I believe and try to chat someone up.Thats what i'm planning to do ..I will update you guys if i find out anything.I believe Dec is too long to wait to speak to someone currently in the program.This is my opinion though>.......

Ali523,If i were you...unless i have so much time on my hands,then i will.Otherwise i wouldn't.since you have already applied to the school and if taken,you will likely accept the offer unless you have other options.You will have enough time to tour the school then .This is my opinion though.....

Congratulations Childofgrace!!!! welcome to the weekend boat.I don't have much info on the weekend program myself.But you can contact the prof mentioned in your letter or email for more info.

International student........she has to be enrolled in 12 credit hrs per semester and can only do one online course per semester too... I also have another friend that was taken for the weekend program.but he will decide between twu and UTA accelerated program if taken.....

Not to happy to day...my friend and reading partner just discovered she will not be able to go in for the weekend program becos she's F1 .So she will have to decline the offer and be considered for the regular.I know she will get in to the regular any way 'cos she applied for both,her GPA is the max and hesi score is close to 90.....

Guys ! do you think is a good idea to block one of the current weekend nursing students on friday to get some info from them. heard there are about 20 of them in the program. ...quite a small class..

yeah..same day too..but i haven't recieved the mail yet. I have a good feeling the mail guy has messed up(hissed)....anyway will call twu tomorrow to alert them.

I haven't rec'd my admission Packet yet..i hope the mail guy hasn't dropped off somewhere else....thank God for the email 'cos this mail guys are something else...

Congratulation Danelogan.....I think there is now four of us in the weekend program...its true! there isn't much info about the program out there. Danelogan what was your major in your 1st degree if you don't mind??////

Actually the doc in charge of weekend program said 45 students got an offer.

one way to find out is to speak to one of the current students.but they are ony in class on fridays.

Patho and pharm. along with NURS-4612,4602,3612,4902 and 2 others

Plasma, if you go to the nursing website and click on weekend program,then click on degree plan...its stated there that 8 of the classes will be online.I spoke with the Doc in charge of the weekend program who confirmed that patho and pharm. will be online and any course that ends with a 2.Basically, the total course work is 16 and 8 will be online.The regulars will also take 2 classes online with us too.
