  1. exam date:thu, 15 oct 2009 at 8:00 amcandidate:cynthia leachregistration #:exam:nclex-pn: the national council licensure examination for practical nursesgrade:pass its true!! i passed.im an lpn now onto rn. return to view history
  2. It depends on your state. LPN or LVN cannot assess patients or plan a goal of care independently. They are directed by or with the Rn I am an lpn and I have been trained to do IV's I can push drugs except for cardiac and blood transfusions. Like i said it depends on the state, I am bridging to my RN becuase there are not alot of options for LPN in my city.
  3. Can you find out on a saturday? Will pearson vue post on the weekend? I took my test on thursday and thought i would have to wait till MONDAY
  4. K, I live in oregon and we do have the 2 day results. I took my test on thursday and tried the trick today(friday) and I got the "magic" screen. My test shut off at 85 just like all my fellow students that passed. I hope its true, atleast it takes the edge off since I have to wait all week-end.. Ill let you all know on monday for sure.
  5. i believe it is the nurse behind the education. Life experiance is a greater teacher than book experiance. Id take an LPN with years of experiance and an EC earned RN over and RN with only 2 years of schooling and a short stint with clinicals. Just my 2 cents.
