UNC ABSN Summer 2010
Well, my situation is such that I have to consider my young son who is 6, almost 7. We are going to go to the Booker Creek Townhomes. They are inexpensive, quiet and back up to a trail (Booker Creek Trail) which leads to a shopping center and then Franklin Street. The bus stop (two buses) go right to the townhomes/campus or I can ride my bike on the trail/sidewalk.

Admission into UNC Chapel Hill BSN Program for Summer 2010
Congratulations to you!!! I am going to the last orientation as I have come down with something. My sister is visiting from out West and I can't make the second session, so I'll be at the third orientation. Could you let me know how the TEAS test goes? I am imagining that you are going to be at one of the earlier sessions.

UNC ABSN Summer 2010
Last cycle it seemed like in the threads that I was reading online here that the ABSN folks were getting their letters a bit before the regular BSN applicants. The folks that were posting seemed to be mainly candidates for the ABSN program so that could be why it seemed that way. I know I received my BSN waitlist letter very late.

UNC ABSN Summer 2010
When I spoke to the Dean of Admission just after last cycle she said they had about 600 applicants. I was on the waitlist last cycle and had an interview with her in order to review my application at the time. She said that it was the largest number of applicants that they had ever had apply to the programs and that there were many qualified applicants they could not accept. I am sure that this cycle will not be all that different considering the economy and general job outlook.

UNC ABSN Summer 2010
I am also applying for the regular BSN. I applied last cycle and was waitlisted. After reading some of the previous discussions on other threads I went ahead and scheduled time with the Dean of Admissions. She discussed my application with me and was quite helpful. I also spoke to the admissions office and was told that letters would be sent out by the end of March. Last cycle it was extremely agonizing because of the new application system and letters came out late. I am hoping that it won't be the case this time around. Those of us moving to the area will be hard pressed to find somewhere to live very quickly!

UNC Chapel Hill (Spring 2010) January 2010 - Anyone Receive Word?
Hi. I also have applied to the BSN (not ABSN) program for January 2010 entry. I have not received any notification yet. I also live here in NC. Hopefully we will receive our letters this next week. I am on pins and needles waiting. Good luck!
