  1. Chill on unemployment, and later apply again. I'm sure it's just the matter of miscommunication and chance. Next time you get a job, just make sure you get as many numbers of co-workers as possible and inform all of them in case of an absence.
  2. dude, if I found out that I got accepted into the Nursing program, I would be jumpin up and down right now. Please, your road is open, get your nursing degree!
  3. I am not a nurse yet, nor an experienced nurse. However what I can tell is this: If you want your resume to be the best one that the employer has seen in years, you pay to people to do it. They will ask you the right questions, tell you what you need to say in case the employer asks you questions about resume, and write it for you (no, they are no lying, they are simply good at composing and adding flavors). I have done that and indeed it worked in my former computer job search. Back then, it cost me 80 bucks. Try googling;
  4. 1:7 is horrible! In local hospital where I volunteered, my floor nurses had a ratio close to 1:7. It was so busy that they allowed me to take sugar and vital signs (obviously among other things that I was allowed to do) ; I was a volunteer!
  5. OK, go to your local Modells store and look for running socks. Work great!! They are very soft and you feel like you are walking on the mattress!
  6. When I volunteered in hospital in Brooklyn, NY, I was always asked to help to turn the patients. Ladies wouldn't even attempt to do without calling me first. And the male supervisor would just stand there and stare!
  7. In my school, if you withdraw from classes, you cannot be considered for the program, even if you take a class again and get an A+.
  8. I am taking KCC LNL on January 7th! I hope I'll do well. I have A+ on Bio11 and Bio12, A on PSY 32, and (oh man) B on Intro to PSY from Brooklyn College (transfer). I think I'm getting an A on SCI 25. What are my changes
