Hello, I need some advice. I was put on administrative leave due to no evidence of current CPR certification. I could not prove I was current cause i lost the card. I got a new card of course and made arrangements to do some work part time during the time i was off to supplement my income. 5 days before the leave was to end i got voice mail from the puppet nurse manager stating stating my position was at risk because i was a no no call no show for three shifts. That Monday i tried to call... the voice mail box was full and so leaving a message was no option... so i faxed a copy of my new card and a note that said i was ready to return to work the day the leave was over. Please fax a schedule. Never heard from them. Well... i decided to resign instead of going back... I felt like i was about to become a victim of professional sabatage... it absolutely felt like i was being set up to be fired. Well i certainly didn't want that because this institution reports to the infamous Group I I decided best to cut my losses now and leave with my license in tact. This also is not the first run in i had with management... twice due to the illness and hospitalization of my daughter i had to call in. Both times i was written up for being a no call no show. The first instance I tried to call the assistant DON... she never returned the call. So i used the night supervise pager number to call in. I found out the next day i was logged as a no call no show for not calling in prior to the absence. I told the assistant DON i had called the pager number given to us when we were hired. It was heavily insinuated that i was lying. The next day I called the supervisor again and asked why she didn't tell anyone... she stated she could not tell anyone cause no one would call her back. The second incident... i talked to another nurse early in the evening and told her I would not be there... and i attempted to call the assistant DON three times, and the nurse manager once. NO return calls. I called and reported to the night supervisor. Again... I was accused of lying about calling and written up again. This assistant DON and puppet nurse manager was really good at not responding to emails that requested help. Or phone calls and voice mails after 5 pm. I guess they figured if they didn't get on the phone to take a call in they would not have to stress over getting a replacement in position. And working in one of the clinics for either one of them was out of the question especially on a weekend. I have not found another job and filed unemployment and because i "quitAny advice at all is appreciated.

Been with msn for 5 years now. In the begining they were great. Following the merge of the two companies... it has gone downhill big time for me. It is like they have way too many irons in the fire. It is so bad... i will no longer work anything for them. They are the first and only travel company for me. But that is changing as we speak.
