  1. Well I just started the transition this week and we sure have been busy. But it is summer so that was to be expected. Not sure how the ADN program starts out but we went M-TH with Monday being clinical orientation at the school and Tuesday and Thursday was 2 classes and Wednesday we had sim lab. In this first week we were checked off on IV insertions and VS plus took our math test and a quiz. I think now it will be 3 days/wk. And in the Fall we will join the ADN group for the final 2 semesters
  2. Well I will begin the transition program on Monday. Just picked up my scrubs yesterday. I cannot wait to get this party started lol
  3. How are classes going. I just received my acceptance letter for the LVN-RN program for this summer
  4. Is anyone applying for this fall? LVN to RN transition program?
  5. I am taking retaking pharm because I was going to apply to kingwood and my pharm was over 5 years old. My instructor told me I could've started the transition program if I would've turned in my application because I have everything else. Ugh so frustrated! Now I have to wait until March to apply to Lee. This will be my second go around with a transition program. I failed my exit exam in 2012 and now just starting over.
  6. Thanks so much. I was wondering why I never got any responses lol
  7. Where do I find the Texas forum or school forum? I cannot find it on the app
  8. Ok so the deadline is in March but I am so stoked about applying. This will be my second attempt at the RN program and I WILL SURVIVE! prerequisites done (4 A's and 2 B's), TSI done (made a 353 so probably wi retake) and all my blood work done (just did Hep B titer and will have to get a flu and Tb). After calculating my score I have a 416.83, if I did it correctly. I submitted an application but I don't have a log in so not sure how that works. I need to submit my transcripts and I think that will be it. Am I forgetting anything?
  9. So how do you find out your score for COM? Not the TSI score
  10. Hello all. I have noticed that COM has made a few changes to their transition program. Is there and entrance exam or exit exam? And is Pharm no longer required because I didn't see it in the degree plan. I am about to start Pharm this week and then I will apply in March. Good luck guys
  11. Does anyone know if they accept students that were unsuccessful st another college? I failed my exit hesi twice and now have to start all over. I was 8 1/2 months with my first attempt and 9 months with my second. I actually went into labor the day after my class ended. I am looking into finding an online program. Also I wonder if they would consider using my job, as a school nurse, for clinicals because each school has a limited amount of children with diagnoses that require skills
  12. Hey who is this from San Jac North? I also graduated the LVN program as well and I am waiting to take the NCLEX
