  1. First off, I love love love this thread. There's some things I really need to get off my chest. 1. Yes, I get good grades, but I don't brag about it. You wanna know my grades? Ask me and I'll tell you. (I get A and high B's) But then don't say "Oh, I hate you," "You have more time to study than I do," or other half @$$3d excuses. It is not a sin to study! :angryfire 2. NS is NOT a game. I'm not here to make friends/get drunk off my @$$ and sleep with random people/ "help" you do your homework and give you my study guides which I worked hard on for hours. If I have to work hard to get my grades, so do you :trout: 3. SHUT UP DURING LECTURE! I'm not paying thousands of dollars in tuition to listen to you whine and moan about how your boyfriend is so horrible to you. I don't care. Shut up. 4. I have no problem helping a fellow student. NS is hard. But I DO have a problem when I spend hours explaining the material to you while you text and take numerous breaks, then whine at me when you fail the exam. Grow up and stop wasting my time 5. ...Can you at least act like you're in college? The cliques, cattiness and excluding people because you think you're better than them is soooo High School. Again, GROW UP. And to my clinical group/study buddies/and my roomie: You guys are awesome. I can't wait to graduate with you guys!
  2. Hi! I'm a new member. I've been reading some of the threads and the community seems really nice so I finally decided to post. I have my first clinical this week and I'm really excited. We had alot of cuts and it feels good to have made the first half of the semester. I was wondering if anyone has any advice or tips so I don't make stupid mistakes? While I know my textbook stuff, I'm sure it's a different ball game when you really have to apply it to a patient
