  1. No you only do your pre-reqs there and transfer to the nursing school of your choice when you finish, so the two years you're there you choose the classes you take according to the nursing school you choose .
  2. Thanks for the advice are you just starting?
  3. Do anybody know what the classes are like at Gainesville state? What classes do you have to take? I just got accepted and wanted to know what classes I'll have to take. Any feed back would be good whether its about classes or anything. Thanks
  4. What classes will you have to start out with? Was it hard to get into the school because right now I go to athens technica college and want to transfer there.
  5. Is anyone doing their pre-reqs for nursing at gainsville state (oconee or gainesville campus)?
  6. That would be great who are some of the teacher that you took since registration is this week.
  7. Thanks again I'm gonna keep on asking you things as i think of it. Good luck to you too!
  8. Thanks so much (Goldie798). Keep me posted on how your classes go. Also did you use any study aids for any of your classes.
  9. Hi I'm Quanesha, I'm enrolled at Athens technical college and have to take five major classes and out of the five classes I have to get a 3.68 GPA to get into the Nursing program. I have to take: AP I & II, Introductory Microbiology, English Composition and Rhetoric, Mathematical Modeling. I was wondering if anybody had any insight on the classes or study aids, books, etc... that would be helpful in succeeding. I was thinking about getting the anatomy coloring book and the microbiology book too. I want to ace AP 1 & 2 and microbiology, and the math, cause everyone say there going to be hard but with a lot of studying I can do it. .

  13. Hi I'm Q! I'm new to this. I've never done a forum before but now i can't stay off it,but anyway I'm a new mom too and going to school for nursing and me personally i think its going to be hard, because he's 10 months and i work third shift at the hospital drawing blood and trying to go to class in the day time and get sum rest before i have to go back in and try to spend some time with him, But by the grace of god, my mom and my boyfriend, i think it would be impossible. I'm doing it for my son. Just think about your kids that should motivate you to go to school.
