My program has a clinical placement coordinator so we don't have to worry about finding our own preceptor. As said above, some schools do provide placement for you.

Dana1969, Thank you so much for all the info! I really appreciate it and will definitely be taking all of this into consideration. That's some pretty scary stuff...don't think I'm willing to take the chance of having to deal with all that :/

Did you end up completing the program or transferring out? Do you know anything about preceptor placement and whether they actually do place you? I was already sketchy about this school because it's so hard to find any detailed information about their program. I really appreciate your response and anything else you can tell me would be helpful!

Hi, I'm applying for HNU's FNP program and wanted some more insight as to your experience with the program, professors, curriculum etc. Were you easily able to find a job after graduation? Any information you could provide would be great as I am deciding between two schools. Thanks!

I applied to Holy Names University in Oakland, CA. But their app deadline isn't until June 6th. However, I've decided I'm going to accept at USD for fall so I guess we will be classmates!

Crossing fingers too! :) When was your interview? I wonder if they are done interviewing applicants now. I was hoping I'd hear from them by end of next week. Do you know of anyone that graduated from USD's program in the past?

I was invited for an interview and was told we would find out by Mid-April. So anxious to hear back from them!
