  1. congrats to everyone on this post who got accepted in the spring! I was in the fall 2010 and had to withdraw before the final exam... me and quite a few other people! the program at forsyth tech is rough so you guys be ready! & kay I am applying for the fall 2011 again.... blahhh!
  2. Miss dixie: clinical is one day a week the first semester, we have to be there at 6am til 2 I believe? Not sure about other semesters...
  3. yes I think you will be fine... The TEAS test is hard for some people and not for others! Just refresh on some things and you will do good... and If you already have 84 points then lets say you made an 81 on the TEAS you'd have like 160+! Although I personally feel like the point ranges are going to keep getting higher (due to so many people trying to compete) I would definitely try to do my best on the TEAS! the higher the better :)
  4. yay! congrats!!! SO excited for you :) god has his own way of working things out! When will you register?
  5. Wow sorry QUIEROSERNURSE it's been a minute since i have checked this thread! Although I am sure you have already taken the TEAS I would recommend staying CALM and not freaking yourself about it. I find that to be one of the biggest problems in not being successful when taking the test... Another thing I would recommend is to go over science basics ie) tectonic plates, food chains, basic chemistry. I would also freshen up on your writing skills ie) punctuation, spelling... the TEAS practice guide definitely helps, although the science portion is much harder in the practice book then on the test! hope this helps someone! btw i got in adn fall 2010 @ fotech! whoop!
  6. Hey mandataye I got in the fall and 2010!
  7. Okay initially i decided to do nursing straight out of high school, i took a semester or two of basic classes & then switched to college transfer. Well this summer is suddenly hit me that i really wanted to do nursing, so here i am again!! I then decided to shoot for ADN program spring 2010 because i had pretty much all my pre-reqs except for A&P. I then started to think that it was highly unlikely i'd get into the spring program so i was gonna try for fall 2010. Well a couple days ago (a month before the spring 2010 deadline) i figured i'd might as well try to get into spring program because it wouldnt hurt to try. So i guess what my question is is i have about 51 ranking points from my prereqs and i'm getting ready to take the teas test sept 24th. I know people who have gotten into the program without having A&P, they just did very well on there teas test. So I am just curious if there is anyone out there that this has happened to? I called about it and they seemed to focus more on the teas test score, as far as getting in. She said the ranking points "helped" but weren't like the main focus? I've been spazzing about this all week! so if anyone can help me i would appreciate it :) thanksss
