Has anyone called lately and asked when we are getting our schedules ??

i have all my pre reqs except micro!!! congrats again to everyone their is a facebook group sp 2010 it might be private though ill try to get them to make it public

has anyone heard anything about orientation or when school begins?

I have a 3.2 gpa now and i got accepted and i did well on the entrance exam, I think the determining factor is both combined but i know that the essay counts as well, i dont think they will hold it against you that you took it over as long as you did better. I had a C in A&P. Just take the exam and try your best!

i dont think so i sat in the front row and just took the test and tried to beat it out of there lol ... i know im so anxious for the packet and for everything to start! everything will be so small to she said out of 40 ppl they break clinicals up to 10 ppl maybe we will be in the same one lol

haha i mailed my deposit out today so ill probably call later in the week to confirm they recieved it. Hmmmm iwonder if they just didnt accept a lot of ppl yet or many ppl didnt pay yet...

UGH i heard that too she said that at least for this whole year there at whitestone expressway hopefully they dont go to far, right now im commuting from rockaway beach in queens so long island will be a real pain.

There are two programs one in the fall(sept) and spring which is (jan). There def has to be a lot of seats opening because they are still having test dates and accepting applications. Good Luck and im sure if you get your application in soon youll have a exam date in a week or two. Good Luck

Yes its an RN license. Ive taken a&p 1/2 but havent taken micro... Have you taken them? The neighborhood didnt really look that bad and the parking lot is right outside the building so i dont think we will have any problems lol

I dont know if im ready but im excited, I havent paid the deposit yet either. I wish the classes werent until 1030 but ill take what i can get lol. I dont know of anyone else who got accepted lol.. i took the test on the 4th.. and had my interview with ms wolinksi. My friend is in the day program and she lovvvesss it.

Your G.P.A matters but they review that during your interview . The first step is to do well on your essay and exam. If you do well on your exam and get called for an interview make your you explain why you received c's im sure they can be understanding if you show that you will be able to handle their coursework.

Yes the essay is very important! When i went for my interview they read my essay and i was asked questions based on what i wrote.

Holy Smokes AP! Congrats. I thought the result were supposed to take a few weeks?? I just took my exam today. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope the process is just as fast for the rest of us. How did you think the exam went? were there a lot of people taking the exam? Good Luck!!

I had In the 80's for english and about a 90 for math... during my interview we reviewed my scores and basically my interviewer made it seem like it is more important how you score on certain categories. the test isnt bad at all so if you havent taken it yet... just dont take to much time reading the passages because they give you less than a minute each question! Good Luck

This is how the process went for me... I picked up an application in June ... I took the exam on September 4th, received a call on September 11th scheduling an interview..... Had an interview on the 14th and recieved my acceptance letter today the 17th!!!! Good luck to all!

They accept 40 students for the January program. I received a call on friday and they scheduled me for an interview for this afternoon, I was nervous but am very excited and will find out within the next week or two if i made it!!
