  1. not sure if anyone is still on this discussion? I was searching for info on the CNA class? wondering how hard is the Sat class? I just took Bio 111 and looking to continue with the prerequisites for nursing BUT have 2 little ones at home so trying to get the classes that take the least amount of time done now, then the harder ones when they are in school. I have taken A&P and psyc before when i got my bachelors but I need to take them again as it has been so long ago! In reading your responses I noticed you are taking some classes online. Just beware, I have heard on numerous occassions that many schools will not accept online lab classes!!!
  2. anyone do an online program? are they recognized? any recommendations? I have a BS and know I will need some refresher prerequisites as I graduated in 1987 - yikers! looking to go back for nursing and just trying to figure out the best way. I don't mind taking a couple of years to get prerequisites done as my kids are just 3 and 4 so to start the accelerated program when they are in school is best anyway. Any thoughts? advice?
  3. I have decided to go back to school after many years! I have a BS , graduated 1987 and am a CTRS (certified recreation therapist). I am not in a hurry to start and my plan is to take whatever prerequisites I need to retake (my degree probably won't be transferable as it is older than 10 years?) BUT what I am hearing is that there is a 2 year or 3 year or ?? wait. Is that to start classes? can you get accepted and then just not start classes for 2 years? or do you have to wait 2 years to apply?? I thought I knew the answer to this question but keep finding different information. Any help will be greatly appreciated!! ps I am in Colorado Springs
