Graduation rates
Thank you for the list. Chamberlain College of Nursing is not on there though. Probably because they are new to the valley and do not have a graduating class yet. I guess that is a risk that I would take going there since they have not even developed a reputation in Phoenix yet. It seems like a good school..and seems to be doing well in other states.

Graduation rates
That is a good idea to talk to a student nurse education coordinator. Hopefully, they are willing to answer questions. And yes, the program I'm getting into is a BSN program, so I would have my bachelor's in 3 years.

Graduation rates
Thanks! I appreciate the response. I was accepted to Chamberlain's program and saw that they had a low graduation rate. This concerns me... I know they are knew to Phoenix, but I really hope that hospitals will hire nurses from Chamberlain. I take it you will not share what school you went to? :wink2: I wonder what programs are the good ones and which ones have the best reputation.

Chamberlain college of Nursing - any graduates?
Hi all - I have just been accepted to Chamberlain's BSN program in Phoenix. I saw that they have a low graduation rate though and now this is concerning me. Has anyone graduated from Chamberlain and how do you feel about their program? Did you feel like the program prepared you to be a great nurse? Are hospitals hiring Chamberlain graduates? Thanks for your time!:)

Graduation rates
Is anyone else looking at graduation rates for their nursing program? Is that something I should be concerned about with an accredited school?

Anyone else pursuing BSN as a second bachelor's?
Thanks to both of you for replying. :wink2: I will look into scholarships.com. And it helps to know where to go to see how much I still have available. :) Good luck to both of you in your programs!!!

Nurse Anesthetists: Will they phase out?
I did hear that these positions may require a doctorate degree in the future.

Anyone else pursuing BSN as a second bachelor's?
I was curious to know if anyone else is pursuing a nursing degree after already having received a BA? Were you able to get the funding you needed? I was just accepted into Chamberlain's BSN program and will fill out the FAFSA this week. I am just a little worried that I will not get the funding I need since I already used a portion for my other bachelor's. Also, does anyone know of any good scholarships or grants out there for re-entry students? Any info would be helpful. Thank you!:)

Anywhere in the Phoenix metro area hiring w/ schedules to accomodate nursing school?
This is a great question and I am wondering the same thing. How does everyone make ends meet while in nursing school!! I have a mortgage, car payment, and many other bills. I just wonder how you go to school and work enough hours to not end up homeless! :)
