FINALLY!! I've been done with my pre-reqs for two semesters now and after my second time applying I FINALLY got got my acceptance letter this week, and orientation is next Friday! I can't wait to finally get started on the good stuff! As you can see, I'm pretty new around here but I've done a lot of lurking. Great forum and I look forward to getting to know some of you better! - Derek

JUST got my Spring '10 grades! Was taking A&P I, Math 110, Behavior modification and Public Speaking... Finished it all up with a 3.8 GPA! Now I have a week to relax (probably alcohol-related lol), regroup and go visit family before starting the summer semester with A&P II and Statistics!

I'm a pre nursing student in SC and am a very big guy as well. Honestly, I've never even given any consideration to peoples thoughts, responses or body language when I told them I wanted to be a nurse. Thats what I want to do and that is what I'm GOING to do! Follow your dream, work your @$$ off and never let the judgemental skinny-mini's get you down. They are just jealous because we are better insulated and have a hermetic protective coating for our rock hard abs! ;-)
