  1. Hi jjronaldRN, how did u do on the test? Did you hear back from HR already?
  2. Oh wow! Thanks for the information. Will apply
  3. Best wishes at KH. Hopefully u fit in fast.
  4. Yes, I'm still with agency, but I'm not actively working for them as we speak. I'm an RN now and they don't have a lot of RN placements.
  5. I've now moved on from KH. The traing was 3 weeks (one week in class and two with trained nurses). KH was a good learning exp. it is tough there and their expectations are super high, however, once u master it, it will make u a better nurse. I cried several times during the beginning and felt like quitting but didn't. U will have to develop strategies that work for u to manage a shift ( those strategies only come thru exp though :-). They say if u can survive KH, u can work anywhere. Most of the staff are ok to work with too.
  6. Thanks for the information. I have applied through the Lifespan network. They have several hospitals listed. I was not familiar with the different areas so I applied to most of them (lol). I am now awaiting response(s).
  7. Hi Rhode Islanders, I am a new grad RN with BSN. I have 3 years long-term care experience as an LPN. I have a hard time securing a hospital job in NYC and is thinking about relocating to RI. How is the new grad job market there? Which hospitals do u suggest I apply to, if any?
  8. Thank u Simone, I was just searching for other jobs outside of nursing because I am beyond frustrated. Virginia is not to far away, so thanks for those options. I am about to check them now. Congrats on your offer!!! Did you accept? Do you have to have your license endorsed before you apply?
  9. I will do my research on Utah as well. Thank you
  10. Da_Milk_of_Amnesia, what is it like in North Dakota? I was reading some new grad testimonials and they seem to be ok (except for the cheap salary in comparison to NYC)
  11. The Navy ??? Never crossed my mind, but right now I'm open to anything, so I guess I'll do some research
  12. Thank you for the encouragement and advice. I will definitely try those options. :)
