  1. There were a mixture of all, but more of application type questions. Most of the questions related to the elderly. But i do need to know if there are books out there for just not the kind of questions i had, but a book that covers it all, cos i might have diff questions in another interview. Please do you know of any particular book? Thanks
  2. Today wasn't really a good day for me. I been trying to get a job and its been so difficult, maybe cos am a new grad also. I had been going for interviews and was scheduled for one today. I walked in and felt welcomed, i chit chatted with some of the staffs who were very nice, and i was looking forward to getting accepted as a staff, maybe i hoped too much though. They had this computer test that i didn't know i was supposed to take today. When i started taking it, i discovered that the test questions were really challenging and difficult to answer, i mean i had taken tests before during interview, but this was way harder. By the time i was through, i prayed and hoped that i pass. But the lady walked up to me and told me that i failed by few points and that my application cannot be accepted, and if i was still interested in the position, i could try again in 6months time, i felt so very down. I asked to see the questions that i missed, but dat's not usually allowed. I was down and just wished i had tried to pass just one or more of the questions. Please are there nursing kindda questions books for interview testing. I really don't wanna go through this again. If there are other books i could buy or study so if faced with another circumstance like this, i would excel, i would love to get the book. I still have some of my nursing books, but is there a book out there for tests like that?

  11. God bless you all for contributing to this thread, i read every bit of it just to keep myself from turning into a nervous wreak. I took my nclex today at 8am, and got 85 questions, i didnt know these questions but used critical thinking, i went home in tears thinking i had failed, and was brousing stuffs on the internet about the nclex just to console me, when i stumbled upon this site.I did the pearson trick and have been checking it every hour, it doesnt let me go to the CC page, so am optimisstic now, and would share with yo all how i did cos i get to see my results tomorow. The pearson trick has really helped me from going out of my mind
  12. i just checked the pearson website, with the person trick and it won't let me re-register again cos it says that their system shows that i already have a scheduled appointment with them.....does that trick really works? cos i need something to hold on to at least....thanks for sharing, i feel a little bit better, would let you know how it went
  13. I just took my Nclex-Pn today and am kindda discouraged, can't seem to take my mind out of this experience. The computer shut off at 85 questions and i was just into 30minutes of the time, i don't know if i was too fast or not, but i knew that i didn't know most of the questions. I was praying and hoping that the questions would keep coming cos i thot i had a better advantage of passing that way, pls any word of encouragement would do, cos am really dazed now. Passing the nclex mean so much to me, av been checking the nclex website forever, is there a quick site i can go to? cos just stayn like dis and waiting is almost driving me crazy.......
