  1. Well, I am still a student nurse, however one of my teachers told me that glucophage might help me lose weight. She is a family nurse practitioner, and is quite knowledgable in pharmacology. She told me this when I was discussing that I was unable to lose weight and had said that I had hypothyroidism along with TPO antibodies (I am told these antibodies are working against my thyroid hormone), anyway she said that it might help me. I haven't gotten it yet mainly because the Dr. that i WAS seeing did not want to test my blood glucose. Needless to say i switched.

Does anyone have any suggestions on which NCLEX book is the best? I want one that seperates the body systems, so you can focus on one at a time.
