  1. Just wanted to wish those of you starting tomorrow (like me) all the best and good luck. Lets enjoy our first day :) Today i moved into my apartment and it's lonely as hell, i cant wait to start the studying for something to do lol. Well, have fun tomorrow everyone :)
  2. lol @ the rest of our lives might fall apart... i agree, i'm already having to move closer to the college and that scares me too, coz i'll not know anyone or the area lol. I'm only moving the sunday before my classes start too so that's nerve wrecking lol. I'm a mixture between excitement and nerves for classes lol
  3. my to do list before class start on the 17th is... - move into my new apartment - buy a bed - hair appointment - stationary shopping - have a few nervous breakdowns
  4. YAY!! i start a week from monday too, on the seventeenth and i'm uber excited :) and nervous lol.. very very nervous!! We have our orientation during the first couple days while we start classes too..
  5. Today i went for registration, my classes start the 17th August but we were told that first few days we're going to have our orientation and get all our student cards etc organised and all that. and then our third week there clinicals already start... :stone:eek::uhoh21: i'm so nervous for it though coz my classes havnt even started and then clinicals already start. Just someone shake me so i can stop stressing lol. I dont know how it works in the states or the uk, how fast do you guys start your clinicals? and for those who already started them, is it hard? i dont know if our clinicals are same as yours? ours are in the hospital and you work under a nurse, is it the same there? good news though is i got my hospital of choice :) yay me! it's the best trauma hospital in my province and i'm so happy about it because i want to specialise in trauma :) Please bring me out of this panic lol..

i just got accepted into the nursing programme. Oh and i'm new here, but been reading the posts for a while now. When i applied and wrote the entrance exams i got told that there wont be space until the end of NEXT year and chances that i'd be accepted wasn't so well, and today i got notified that i'm accepted for the next intake, August 17th. And i'm so excited. I thought i was going to wait a lifetime. I'm registering on Saturday and i just cant wait... now i'm finally a nursing student :) I'm from South africa btw.
