getting in nursing school as an LPN
ImO I think its better because getting into the nursing program where I am located is impossible there are no open spots and there are alot of people that are just stuck because they couldn't get in. But once you have your LPN you are automatically enrolled into there program and its less time to finish since you already completed the first yr of nursing school in your Lpn Program

LPN Vocational Schooling
Hi I was recently told that going to a vocational school might be the best route for me to complete my LpN then eventually complete my Rn. I am living in south west fl and I have never attend a Vocational school. I would like to try to enter into there program by March(next date available) what I would like to know is what is the difference between attending vocational vs regular college to complete your Lpn.

Is it mandatory to complete a CNA course to take the test
Hello I am trying to get into a lpn program at this technical school in my area and the school goes according to points to enter into the program, Now if your a CNA you have somewhat of an advantage into getting in quicker. I really do not want to be a Cna(no offense) I just want to go further and become a lpn then bridge over to my rn. Now My question is there any possible way that you do not have to take a cna course in order to become certified as a cna? I live in the state of florida. any advice will be helpful. Thank you.

*LpN programs in Fl
Hello everyone, I am currently a student at edison state college, at the moment I am trying to complete my pre reqs for when I am ready to enter into the nursing program. like many of you all know it is very difficult to get into the nursing program so im hoping to enter to the program through the bridge program. Now I would like to start looking to enter into a lpn program asap, I was wondering if there were any programs in ft.myers area or even in tampa that I can try to enroll in by sept? preferably less than 10k. Also are all entries into the lpn program the same like based on a point system. example more points if you are already a CNA. Any info will be helpful .Thank you!
