my school provided us with a PDA version of of Davis's Drug Guide and i absolutely love it. If you guys are allowed to carry around PDAs you should definitely consider purchasing the nursing central subscription. I'm not sure how much it is but it's super helpful in everything from the drug guide to various diseases.

What tracking system?? Haven't heard anything about that...

just to verify...for lab we wear the blue scrubs and for clinical we wear the purple and white uniform? just making sure...i have clinical on monday and dont want to mess up!!!

yeah i saw that too...i haven't formed a group yet but i have clinical on monday so i will probably try to get into a group then. so much reading to do guys one more week!!!

hey everyone...i was looking through the hunter nursing website and found this: "For incoming RN pathway students and those re-admitted for fall 2010, there will be a mandatory orientation to the program on August 19, 2010. The orientation will be in room 218, and will begin at 4 pm. No student will be admitted after 4:15 pm as too much information will be missed if the student is late. Failure to attend orientation will result in forfeiture of a seat in nursing courses." Does anyone have any information about this? And I'm guessing we're the incoming RN pathway students?

You can do it! I took A&P and oranic Chen together and that was like 4 classes because of the labs! On top of that I took English, statistics and history that same semester. I managed to get A's and B+. It was anything but easy but totally doable. Go for it!

Hey everyone! I wanted to know if anyone took the CPR class that we need to take? I was looking up the CPR classes and wanted to confirm that it was a BLS for healthcare providers is what we needed? Also does it matter who certifies us? Thanks!

hey everyone! ok so i just saw the email that the pharm professor sent. I'm so happy she posted the book we need but I can't seem to find it! I found the 5th edition book online but the ISBN number is not matching! anyone else having trouble? i want to buy this book asap!

Hi needcoffee! Ok so registration should be open for everyone now. All you have to do is go to esims and go to register fall 2010 just like you did everytime you registered for classes. As far as the classes go yes go to the packet they gave us and register for the code they wrote depending on the class. Pharmacology is the only class we all have the same code. Good luck and let us know if you have any trouble!

allaboutme23 that you so much for this information! i left to get the uniforms as soon as they said section 1 could go so i totally missed this crucial info! I wish we were able to purchase the books we need for the fall so we could start studying! getting them in august will be so late lol! so much to do before August 1st good luck everyone!

hi MommytoMommy&RN & welcome to the site! although I am not at the same position you are I know exactly how you feel. i came out of high school knowing without a doubt in my mind that nursing is what i wanted to do. i've been working 3 very long hard years for my dream and am finally accepted into the nursing school of my choice. although i still have a long road ahead of me i cannot begin to explain the joy and happiness that i feel. i am one step closer to my dream and there's simply nothing like fulfilling your dream. work hard and don't give up =)

ahh this happened to me when I took Chemistry. I worked SOO hard all semester and eneded up with a C+ because of my final. i was literally one point off. I was so upset but managed to get A-'s in all my other major sciences and still have a 3.6 GPA. don't let it get you down just keep working very hard in all of your other classes!

In our school, we have to go into orientation and we register for classes that day as well as ordering our uniforms. My orientation is June 1st and I can't wait!

yea i've never heard of group interviews either. let us know how that goes and good luck!!!
