I can't wait to meet everyone!

Hey guys I got another call from EB and offered me a spot for the SF cohort. Apparently they're trying to fill the class before it starts next week. I was #21ish on the wait list so I guess a lot of people opted to go somewhere else? Anyway, I talked with her today and notified her that I won't be attending either campus so a spot should open up at San Mateo and SF. Good luck to everyone!!!

I got a call from the San Mateo campus today that I got accepted. I already am planning on attending the Sac campus so one of you on the wait list can have my spot :)

I got a call today as well!! I'm so excited!!! I also interviewed for the ELMSN program and haven't heard anything back about that (probably not a good sign) but I'm thinking I'll go ahead with the ABSN program. Congrats to everyone who's heard so far and good luck to those still waiting!!! :)

Thanks for the reminder about the financial aid! I had totally forgotten about it. I've been checking my mail every day and will probably continue checking it until I get something from SFSU. I'm impatiently waiting!

Are they still calling people for interviews? I was waitlisted for the Sacramento campus and had my application deferred to Oakland and still haven't heard anything back yet. Is the Oakland campus more competitive than Sac?

FNP program at Samuel Merritt is 113 units, $967 a unit, so if I do my math correctly this time, its ~$110,000. I guess you figure though that going to USF for your CNL and then going to another school to get your FNP would probably be about the same.

Whoops! That is a huge difference.. I was wondering why the program was so cheap, especially for a master's program at a private university. As much as it is, it's still $30,000 less than Samuel Merritt.

I applied to the acute adult care program. My goal in the end is to become a FNP. I heard that they will cancel classes needed by students who are already halfway through the program. Do you know if there's an interview process?

$70,000??? I thought it was $6,700? $1,000 per unit, 67 units for the program. Am I understanding that wrong too? lol

I'm working on my app right now for the program starting in summer 2010. The only thing that makes me hesitant to go there is that you don't get a BSN (just your RN license if you pass the NCLEX), and it's for a CNL and not a FNP. Am I understanding that correctly?

I was just curious if anyone applied to the Generic Masters program at SFSU. I haven't really heard too much about it, but I submitted an app for the heck of it. Anyone know how good the program is?
