NedRN not really an interview. I never spoke with a manager if the unit. I spoke with a person who handles all of the travelers there. Have you worked there before?

Hi my fellow travel nurses. This is my first post. I'm taking my first travel assignment. I will be working at Ben Taub ER. I wanted to know if there are any travelers who have worked there recently? I heard that they only put travelers to work in there "decision unit" which sounds to me like an holding unit for patients. I don't want to be a med-surg nurse for the next 13 weeks. Wanted to hear from someone who recently worked there. Thanks

Ok I think that I'm just like everyone else on this site. When i first heard about it I was very skeptical and still a little. But unlike most people I'm reading about on this site....I didn't get the lovely 75 quest. I got EVERY LAST ONE!!!! Yup 265..and it to took me 5 hours and 45min , mainly because after 150 i couldn't see the screen through my tears:cry:. Oh yeah because they dont give you anything when you go in much less a napkin, let's just say my sleeve was real wet when i left. I just knew that I failed so what did i have to loose by trying this trick. But i think through all the threads i only found one other person who passed with taking all of the questions that it wasn't looking good for me. Since I've been home i've been making my self sick by worrying. So i gave it it a try without reading completely how the trick worked so I thought that when I was answering the questions and entering in my information that meant i failed.....but low in behold i got the screen that wouldn't allow me to move forward and pay. I feel better but not until I see that i passed and I have a license # will i be fully releaved. I'll keep you guys posted. Oh btw i took the test today @ 12noon.
