  1. Yes that's the program i'm talking about
  2. Congrats! I wished this program was offered in the state of Alabama. Unfortunately, I would have to move to one of the states it's offered in first, then apply.
  3. Well I read the test might not be required after the second semester. I know when I was in the traditional program. We took 3 quizzes, if an A is made on all three then you are exempt from the final. If not then you must take the final(i think you got 2 chances)
  4. I heard the rule regarding the calculations test has changed.. Is that correct?...I'm trying to decide between Jeff State, Wallace State-Hanceville, or Wallace State-Selma
  5. How is the program? I was in the program at the Jefferson Campus Fall 2007, Failed fundamentals. I was accepted back into the program, but It was an awful experience so I decided to decline the offer. I told a couple of instructors from the Jefferson campus taught the night program...(Mrs. B-the original fundamentals instructor and Mrs. J-the fill in when Mrs B. became sick for the 2nd half of the semester)...In my opinion not good.. Most people thought Mrs B was mean, but she was fair.. Mrs J... Not so much....the grades from her tests was the reason people failed...So my questions are.. How are the teachers in this program. I'm hoping not like the ones at the Jefferson Campus. I'm trying to narrow my down to which school I would like to attend. Right now it's Wallace State-Hanceville (made a connection on here), Wallace Community College-Selma(my cousin graduated this spring).. I have become somewhat bitter towards Jeff State. All three of these programs are said to have hybrid programs. Trying to pick the fairest program, not easy, but fair....
  6. Thank you so much!.. I will go ahead and apply for the Spring term. Could one/ if not both of yall PM me.. I would like to keep in touch, especially once I get into the program.. I think the experience of someone that has gone through the program will be beneficial... Please
  7. Thanks!.. I had a typo in my previous post ... I meant "couldn't pass based on lectures, modules, and books"...but thank you for your post.. I will prepare to apply for the spring :)
  8. Thanks for reply.. In your opinion do you think their program was fair? At Jeff State many students couldn't pass the tests passed on lectures, modules, and books..Seems like teachers were always pulling the questions out of nowhere.
  9. What are the best hybrid/online programs to obtain my ADN that will allow me to do my clinicals with local hospitals in Alabama. I know there are many Programs for second degree students who hold a bachelors, but I only have my associates which is in allied health.
  10. Thanks, that's pretty much what I am looking for (SOme online lecture, with in person clincals..or something similar) I know the hybrid programs are few but I wanted to get as much info as possible. My credits should transfer. I have all of my Pre-reqs except for Microbiology. Thanks for the Info, I will keep it on hand just in case I decide to relocate to North Virginia
  11. I don't have my LPN, I have a diploma in Medical Assisting. And I was in Nursing school for a semester, but due to some issues with the school (investigations and not answering questions), I didn't feel comfortable and I withdrew. I'm considering relocated and I know northern states offer more options other than the daytime program. I am pretty much doing some research before making a decision on my relocation. Hope that helps :)
  12. Thanks Diva_Nurse, Is that for an RN-BSN degree. I'm looking for either an LPN or RN program. Instead of searching for "online" RN programs. I'm having more results by searching for "online hybrid" programs for LPN/ RN programs
  13. Thanks, I will take a look. Any information is helpful
