I would love this as in am new to this type of nursing!

are we for Profit? or not for Profit? during the flu season all hospitals become For Profit.

what ever happened to our own immunity? we have helper cells, If I am not sick, why wear a mask? I am a professional R.N. and If I am sick with the flu I will not come to work to contaminate everyone else. the flu vaccines are changing every year so it is impossible to protect us from the other types of flu out there. we are only protected from 3 types.

I work for a hospital in Kingman, Arizona. The hospital is making employees wear a mask and have a green dot on our badge or get a flu vaccine. Wow, I feel I am being singled out, as if the mask is not enough, not a green dot! LOL. The departments that have employees who have received flu vaccines will not get a list. the departments who still have employees that have not received the flu vaccines will receive a list to their managers. 5% to 20% each year get the flu yearly. I don't feel like these numbers are alarming enough to go to these lengths during flu season.

If a hospital staff member is not being singled out enough by wearing a mask, the green dot should really single that employee out that did not choose to receive a flu shot It states in their email letter that 5% to 20% get the flu each year. This does not seem like a alarming amount to make employees wear masks and green dots on their badges. Those of you who work at the this hospital in Kingman, AZ and others who have words of encouragement please feel free to comment! I am seriously considering seeking out a lawyer. I feel like my rights are being taken away.
