  1. Well the same thing is happening this year in Boston. I graduated in May and have been applying to jobs in the Boston area and still no luck. I have been persistent with the application submission and contacting nurse managers. I have heard word from a couple of facilities but hardly any of them are interested in hiring new grads. I actually have worked for the Brigham for the past 4 years and still no luck landing a job. I am in good standing at my job it has just been a tough market. I am continuing to keep the faith that something will open up soon because SallieMae is knocking at my door...Yikes!!! Thanks for all the good advice I really appreciate this thread!!!
  2. I took 3-4 weeks after graduation and passed on my first try. I think that is enough time to go over things you do not know and give you a chance to feel relaxed and confident before taking the exam. Everyone is different but I know I could not have done it 10 days after graduation.
  3. I know my response was late but Congrats!!! You are officially a nurse now!! Yay
  4. I took my NCLEX-RN exam on July 16th and I got all 265 questions and passed on the first try. I was soooo nervous:uhoh3: but I did the pearson vue trick and it worked for me!!!! I am officially an RN:nurse:!!! The trick works and the number of questions does not matter in my book. Not sure how the computer really calculates it but as long as you see pass you are good. Good Luck!!! I have faith that you will pass:1luvu:
  5. I definitely agree!!! I'm sick of this crap!!! Application after application job post after job post. I'm starting to think I want to work for Human Resource so I can hire myself!!!!Uggh :banghead
  6. I took the NCLEX-RN boards on July 16th and passed on the first try with 265 questions...I was so excited!!!!
  7. I actually passed!!! Yay I'm soooo excited the pearson vue trick worked!!!!!:yeah:Thanks for your support:heartbeat
  8. I also had 265 question!! I thought I failed as well but I did the pearson vue trick and it works. Try to relax even though I know its impossible. But go out have fun and try not to think about. I passed my boards and I'm sure you did too. Good Luck:wink2: ~Nena~
  9. Hello I'm new to the website. I thought the examine was terrible I also took it yesterday!!! I got 265 questions and I'm pretty sure I failed. I will keep you in my prayers and I pray that you did well. 75 questions seems to be the comforting number. Good Luck :typing
