Excelsior--- What states work with program?
Thanks for accepting my friend invite, which is so funny because I was hoping to send you a PM or email with some questions. But it looks like this site doesn't allow that. Congrats on graduating. I'm in LPN school and there are a lot of us looking into the program because we are older and have families and have to work etc.

Excelsior--- What states work with program?
Site says this about FL...So even if you are an LPN you still have to be reviewed by the BON, wait now I'm confused again. Bottom line so you are saying you have to be reviewed by the BON no matter what Florida Direct Licensure: Graduates who were LPN’s at the time of admission and had integrated theory and clinical in their LPN program are eligible for licensure by examination. Endorsement: Graduates who were not LPNs at the time of admission may endorse in after completing two years of active practice as a registered nurse in another state or in a federal facility in Florida. Foundations of Nursing E-Book
- Excelsior--- What states work with program?
Ok...I have looked at the sticky and did the search, so maybe someone can answer this, what states are accepting Excelsior's LPN-RN program? Don't need counseling advice about online schools and such, just what states accept this program. If there is already a thread then sorry. Thank you and have a nice day.:)- Foundations of Nursing E-Book
I did not realize the "sell" thing, sorry. I have the book I just want the darn e-book, I have spent hours searching for it.- Foundations of Nursing E-Book
I'm looking for the Foundations of Nursing E-book. I know this is sold as a bundle at the evolve website, does anyone know where you can get it separately? Or does anyone want to sell, or share? Thanks- Checking Out
]Hi, I'm a LPN student with ADD and here is my question. The second night on level one clinicals I was lucky enough to be initiated with a peri care procedure. The patient was a bilateral non-functioning stroke victim who would not stop pooing once I started to clean the patients orifice. OK now I have set-up the situation for the question. For you who don't know anything about ADD or ADHD one of many symptoms is the ability to check out while you are doing something and boot something else up in your brain. ADDers also have a very keen sense of smell. Here is the really weird part. ]That weekend I was working in the garage having a cold one, when I was flooded with all of the emotion and sensory input that I was able to check out from that Thursday night. I almost blew chunks. I mean I could literally smell the poo and pee and everything else that was in the room that night. Is this a ADD thing or does this happen to other students or practicing nurses? It wasn't very pleasant and I would like to manage this. Thanks in advance for any advice.- How long is your LPN Program??
Ours is suppose to be 15 months, but they already hacked off 2 weeks due to schedule changes.- Male Uniform in nursing
Be glad you get to pick, just got into nursing school and when i was picking up my books and supplies I found out I have to wear "wine" colored scrubs for the next 14 months... yuck! Find someone who can sew or do alterations. It may cost a little more but at least you will have more options. Good luck landing a job.- Keiser vs. BCC for Nursing Program in Space Coast??
apply to every school you can apply to. I have heard though that Keiser is already on a two year wait list. good luck- I'm 39 and want to become a nurse.
I say go for it...I was in banking for several years and flew as a commercial pilot for about 10 years and now I heading back to school for an LPN program. Once I finish that and obtain my minium time requirement it's off to an RN program. Don't know if I will do the RN to BSN because I already have a Finance degree. I'm 39 as well and I'm gonna go for it and I wish you the best and good luck. - Excelsior--- What states work with program?
