  1. I would not base my studying on that......I took my test today and felt like i got hit from every angle...I had 75 questions and felt that the test was like the prentice Hall review and rational book and Kaplan. I heard it was like saunders and i also studied saunders but i would not agree with that....my advice would to do 150 questions and select all topics cause that is how nclex will be
  2. on group studying just remember you may be good at a certain topic but lack at a topic that one of your study partners are good at. For example there were many times when I took a test and something that one of my partners stated was on the exam. The info is so much that you can not do it all or read it all. Fall of my senior year we had an exam the second week of class in Critical care on around 8 chapters out of the Medsurg book, that was only one class, you will still have 2 other nursing classes.I thought I was gonna die but I read what I could and talked it out with my study group.Coppin will teach you how to work well under pressure
  3. I just graduated from Coppin in May. I am studying for the NCLEX.I can tell you that it does not start getting hard untill the fall of your Junior Year when you have Medsurg 1 and Patho. I would strongly advise you to get a NCLEX book and use it for study questions starting from fundamentals 211. Remember the questions will be in scenario, not the type that you may be use to...and it will never be word for word out of the text book, you must know how to apply the material. I would suggest a study group for the purpose of review before exams. Each person can bring a different nclex book and just ask questions on the topic that you will be tested on. Care plans are not hard, just time consuming and you will be up all nite typing your care plan and memorizing your meds.As you get adjusted you will find what works for you, but if I had only one thing to tell you it is to allways make sure you do nclex questions on the topic you are studying for. The nclex book should be your best friend. I did not fail any classes and graduated as a member of Coppin's Nursing Honor Society. Goodluck on your journey
