  1. I am here to get feedback re: kinnser then I saw Katie RN/BSN's 20 visits a day, NOW I want to know more on how she's doing it than kinnser.
  2. why why why delilah..... why do "female" nurses always complain, always confrontational and are the ones who are doing the right things. WHY!? as a male nurse who often encounter a "female" counterpart of the "male" nurse stated, I don't give a sh-t. I'll just throw it away not a big deal, when she comes back i will tell her " Hey i disposed all the tubings u left in the sink coz i dont want u to get in trouble" hopefully her conscience intervene next time. but "female" im sure they are planning a retaliation already lol (just kidding). We have to accept that "jerks" "incompetent" "irresponsible" people exist and the best way to avoid them is to befriend them i don't know if that make sense coz im assuming that by doing so they will think twice before they leave u a mess, and if it is really a habitual bad practice im sure management will notice and that person will be gone in no time. good interpersonal relationship in our profession is vital if its just us being affected just endure it be more patient, we never know that we might need that persons help later on. and beside you don't want to worry about retaliation and that awkward feeling every time u see each other, darn may develop into something that last like what happened to my mom and dad lol. so "female" nurses be careful, charm of male nurses esp those who are badboy-like funny behavior are usually hard to resist :)).
  3. if you are from california you can take the interim permit and work as an RN-IP for 6 months while waiting for your nclex-rn exam instead of taking cna class, listen to others advise take the nclex asap, the longer you wait the more anxious you become and the more you forget tidbits of ur nursing fundamentals, but if you really want to work get the IP and work while you are preparing for your exam. cons in doing that- what you see in real life is not what is written in the book sometimes, you might confuse your nclex rn answers in real life vs what is written.
  4. yes you can challenge lpn exam if you are bsn or asn graduate, i did it also took lpn and rn exam passed the pn and failed rn 3x now also. to those who didnt make it the first time, lets not lose hope just keep on trying, thanks to ca brn u can take it as many times as u can as long as u keep paying so if we are not meant to pass now maybe later or as i was always kidding(sourgraping) if i cant make it to rn maybe i can make it to guinness by taking nclex 30x in 5 yrs lols. just remember ROME 8:28 to them that love God all things work together for good. so cheer up dont let this exam take the best of you rather make it ur best experience to struggle and be more determine to succeed. goodluck and God bless
  5. i know how you feel coz im in your same situation, after i failed i felt like all my theoretical knowledge are wrong and don't know where to start or what to study anymore but then i realized i never really studied i took the lpn exam without studying and pass and hoping i can do the same w/ RN exam but it proved me wrong 3x already, i even sourgrape or joke that maybe if i fail too many like 30x in 5 yrs i will make it to guinness book of records lol. now the only plan i can think of is to eat my pride admit that im not that smart and never rely on luck. i will take the advise of most people here like reading atleast 5000 practice Q's w/ rationale as it will refresh my content knowledge, read saunders book 4th edition which i happen to have 2, i forgot that i already bought it the first time but didnt read that much. i really want to enroll to kaplan class course that is not online but i cant afford it right now, and do my review outside my home like go to a park or library or anywhere but home coz i cant finish reading 2-3 pages without feeling sleepy, i got too lazy to read at home. drink ginko biloba as my wife said it will help my memory as if im demented already lol and most importantly PRAY PRAY PRAY for guidance and strength to endure another studying. so goodluck and looking forward to your "finally passed" message.:wink2:

  10. rom 8:28 and we know that to them that love god all things work together for good, [color=#808080][color=#808080]even to them that are called according to [color=#808080][color=#808080]his purpose. we need to study harder and read forums like these, this is really a great site. infection control is really big in nclex test i got more than 10 infection control q's most are sata and about 5 math that needs conversions like ounce-ml, grains-mg, kg-lbs etc.. for infection control i found these 2 sites that are really helpful thanks to some of the members here for posting it. goodluck on your next test. btw common disease in nclex coz most of my friends got it too are cushing, addisons, reynauds, rotavirus, thyroid storm/crisis, diabetes, nephrotic syndrome, bunch of delegations and mostly prioritization. http://wonder.cdc.gov/wonder/prevgui...03002008000000 http://caring4you.net/tests.html
