What is passing for Kaplan?? 60 or 65??
I heard through the notorious grapevine that passing kaplan at 60- 65% is what you aim for. But honestly, I was hitting low 50-60's. I felt crushed and for awhile internalized that I knew NOTHING! I finally had someone tell me that I need to rely on my nursing knowledge, build my confidence back up, and stop stressing. You know what...They were right. By the time I finished studying for the two weeks with both Kaplan and ATI, I walked in to Pearsonvue, fairly calm, and ready to tackle the test. And passed! Relax, let your mind open and don't let those silly questions destroy your confidence! :) You know the knowledge, you just have to apply it! I've got faith in everyone!!! :))

Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
I posted last week about the pearsonvue trick, in hopes that it was true. I took the NCLEX on Thursday 0800, got cut off at 75 questions @ 0942, walked out, went home, checked on pearsonvue by 1030 and I received the block and could advance no more:lol2:. I recieved notification yesterday (Tuesday 0100) that I am now a licensed RN. I believe in all honesty that the pearsonvue trick works, so far, the people that I know that were blocked, recieved their license. I know that no one wants to rely on it...b/c of that "what if" that might occur...but at least it gives you a slight peace of mind:yeah:.

Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
Well I am in the waiting seat just as everyone else here ... the ones who cannot "fast" access! I just took the exam at 0800 today. The computer shut me off at 75 questions. I had approximately 15 alternative questions, and 15 medication questions (Most of which I knew, and a couple I had to guess at). I feel like I did well... but we know how that can go! BUT, for what it is worth, I'm not going to stress... B/c I feel as if a large burden has been removed from my shoulders and who knows... with a holiday weekend, my results will be delayed! I did check with the Pearson website, and I was blocked from continuing forward saying something about already having been scheduled and to contact the BRN.... So i'm hoping that is the positive outlook i'm hoping for. For all those who found out they passed today, Congrats... For all those who are desperately waiting for word.... Keep your spirits up, smile, and enjoy life as it rolls our way... :)) God bless
