  1. I would love to get more information from you. Can you please e-mail me at [email protected]?
  2. Where did you receive your ADN from if you don't mind me asking? I am currently trying to decide which is the best avenue for me for school and your advice would greatly help me.
  3. I did speak with financial aid and they told me that the Board has not met yet to finalize tuition for next year and they should know something in April.
  4. Met with both schools this week and really liked Harcum. The class size is much smaller. There is only going to be about 16 students/class compaired to the 30 or so at LaSalle. I also will have to take 4 or 5 more non-nursing prereqs, which I really can't justify. If I just get my RN-ADN, the bridge programs into MSN are only 3 or 4 additional classes so why would I take 4 or 5 more classes in philosphy, religion and history just to get my BSN?
  5. I'm 99.9% certain that I will be going to Harcum. I went there this week and met with them and everyone was so helpful and encouraging. There is only going to be about 16 people in the class, which is amazing compaired to some others that have 25-30 in a class. The pass rate is what is holding me up and also not having my BSN. I do plan to continue with a RN-MSN Bridge program but I'm concerned with the pass rate and then getting a job in this sluggish market without having a BSN.
  6. Yes. I'm deciding this week whether to go to Harcum or to one of the BSN programs that I've been accepted to. How about you?
  7. What did you decide on as I am in a similar position?
  8. I was accepted into Drexel and Jefferson's accelerated BSN programs but I need to work during the day so I can't do those programs. Good Luck to you and thanks for getting back to me.
  9. Thanks. Are you currently in the Gwynedd program? If so, how are you finding it?
  10. I've been accepted to both programs. You receive an ADN from both, (I already have my BS). Harcum is 1 year and Gwynedd is 2 years. Harcum's NCLEX pass rate isn't as high as Gwynedd which is why I am a little leary, but very attracted to the 1 year. Can anyone speak to the program at either to give some advice? Thanks in advance.
  11. I have been accepted at Harcum and am wondering how you found the program? The 1st time pass rate isn't as high as some others that I've been accepted to and I'm a little worried about that. Any info. you can give would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Can you tell me what/where the three programs are? I am extremely interested in holistic nursing and am starting the process of going back to school to get my BSN (currently have my BS in another field)?
  13. I live in Bucks County, have my BS and am looking to go into Nursing. I have found that Drexel, Villanova, La Salle and Thomas Jefferson have programs. Does anyone have a recommendation as to any of these programs or any others in the area? I would appreciate the help. Also, Gwyned Mercy has a weekend program for two years that would allow me to take the test to be an RN but would only give me an Associates in Nursing. Does anyone know whether it would be the same as having my BS and being an RN or is there a difference in having your BS and BN? Thanks for any help!!!
