  1. In the past 3 years I have failed Microbiology twice due to personal reasons and was past the withdraw deadline for the class. I quit my job the first time to pursue a new career in nursing thinking I could go to school full time on just my wifes salary but I had to return to work full time or lose my house to foreclosure. The second time I was able to take Microbiology on a Saturday but once again my schedule was changed to Saturday work and it interfered with the class. My question is do I have any chance to redeem myself or did I ruin any chance I had at nursing school. I passed both A P I and II with B's and all my other prereqs with A's and B's. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Looks like a part time program in Philadelphia is a dying breed. Holy Family University no longer has a part time program now just like the other schools in the area. I guess you can't work and go to school to try and better yourself in life. How does one not work and go to school full time and are able to live? Anyone want to fill me in. I am getting a little frustrated now. I have two kids one in college one in catholic high school a mortgage, utilities, car insurance and bills and couldn't even think of not working a full time job. I guess completing the prerequisites required for nursing school (AP 1 and 2, Microbiology, English 1 and 2, Diet and Nutrition, Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Chemistry) was a waste of time. :angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire
  3. Does anyone have any info on Holy Family University Nursing program. I have heard some bad things about them and want to know if anyone had any first hand experiences with this school. I was accepted into a full time nursing school but don't think I will be able to go full time and not work. I am interested in Holy Family part time program. I heard it is very laid back and numerous students who graduated from there are lazy and uneducated. I don't know if this is true or if someone was upset with this particular school. Any info would be greatly appreciated in helping in me in my decision.
