  1. How about CRNA-wise? I graduate May 2012 and want to move there. Does anyone know how the CRNA market is?
  2. @fancypantsrn...do you work for an anesthesia group? or does the hospital employee you as a CRNA? And do you have names of a recruiting company? I almost want to start throwing my name out there now even though I'll be done with CRNA school in a year, figure I might as well start looking for a job. :) THANK YOU! :)
  3. Hey all! I graduate in a year from CRNA school....and am wanting to relocate to Denver, CO. I've seen VERY few jobs out there. Anyone have any insight on the job status out there?
  4. Hello! Just curious how the Denver thing worked out for you. I'm graduating from CRNA school in may 2012 and really want to move there. :)
  5. Anyone have any last minute advice for the interview...it's in 48hrs!!!! YAY!
  6. That's awesome! I'm so excited it went well for you! I'm in o-chem right now so it's definitely fresh!! :) I have everything lined up to go...air, hotel, car! Did you interview in Miami? Did they say if any of the satellite locations were already full? Thanks! amanda
  7. Good luck a week from monday at the interview!!!!! I go a month from today!!
  8. Ok...so very basic! Got it...I know nurses have a habit of reading into questions (which is what I was afraid that I'd do), so that's why I was wondering HOW basic, but cardiac output is pretty straight forward, huh?!? I'm signed up for chem starting next week (interview is aug 3rd) so maybe I can get a couple of those right! :) I really appreciate your help!!! I'll keep you updated on how it goes!
  9. Thanks UNCC49er!! Really appreciate it! Are you gonna go to Barry in Jan? or are you applying elsewhere? When you say "basic clinical questions"....do you mean intrepreting pa waveforms or dopamine gtts or septic vs cardiogenic shock? You're response helped me prepare me for this interview! I'm so glad they talk about financial aid, fo sho! Congrats on the acceptance!! :bowingpur
  10. Thanks!! That'd be great for the heads-up!! I was just going over some of the ccrn q/a that I found online (I don't have my CCRN since I've only been in the ICU for a little over a year). I'm really hoping they don't focus on a lot of the miniscule facts and hope it's more patient related care moves...I'm currently enrolled in a o-chem/biochem class this summer at a community college, so hopefully, I'll get some review from that as well! Thanks for responding!! Anyone else out there know if they focus a lot on chemistry for the interview exam??
  11. Hello all! I have an interview on August 3rd at Barry!! Anyone else going?? What kind of questions will be on the test? Drips? Math? Vent wean? ABGs? Sedation? Cellular level stuff? (eek) So the interview is mainly personal/job related and NOT asking questions about stuff that's on the test?? Please help me!
