  1. Hello everyone!! I am a new grad NP starting in a Neurology practice and just wanted to ask if there are any books/references you recommend to start reading up on for the basic neuro diagnoses. I do not have any experience in this field and don't want to go in totally blind. Thanks in advance :)
  2. I too am going to the national convention in April. I live in Florida and attend Keiser University. We also get to count two of the convention days as clinical hours spent. I went to the state convention in Daytona last year and had a blast. It's not only a break from class and clinicals but the reviews for NCLEX are well worth it. Hope to see you there!!
  3. I am a nursing student in the RN program and am having difficulties writing my first care plan. My client is a 89 year old and is totally dependant for all care. She has osteoporosis, HTN, Dementia, and is on coumadin for a DVT in R leg. I was going for risk for impaired skin integrity r/t physical immobilization, and excretions and secretions. I need an AEB and a couple of short term goals. I don't know if I am on the right track, any helpwill be greatly appreciated!
