I am sure the process is this way so you wont be prepared to take the urine test. You know keep you off guard. I guess they are trying to random the best way they can.

LOL!!!! on the urine drug test. Did they at least let you shut the stall door? When I enlisted back in MAY i had to pee with the door open...talk about awkward!!! The lady is standing right there too!!!

these areas are pretty expensive....very nice but expensive. unless you can find someone just renting a room or garage apt...dont mean to be negative just saying

Dont know if this helps but try renting(looking) for Apts. Outside of the Medical center area or really a little distance from that area. Its gonna be more expensive because of the public transportation availability. Just a thought.

Hi everyone, I received my info on Saturday. Luckily for me I recently had a Tetorifice, TB, Hep B, and polio(dont think this is needed) over the summer. So i am set for that! Unfortunately my mom cant find my Immu.Card so I am going to have to do a tither for the MMR and Varicella vacc. I am in the Spring area off of 2920 and Kuyendahl

i looked for it on facebook and it shows for dallas weekend program...not for houston traditional...

I went to an open house back in April and it seem like a general informational. Talked about prerequisites, transcripts, HESI, the school and other similar things to recruit interest to the school. Has anyone been to any recent Houston open houses?

I grew up in the Houston area for 25 years and now live in Spring(going on three years). Which is outside of houston. I will be traveling 45mins to get to school but anyone have any questions PM and i can find out for you or let you know what i already my know.

Okay so its 12 midnight and I should be in bed. Watched a late movie here at home and then decided to check my emails. Well i check in this order gmail account 1 and 2, allnurses.com---then stop:eek:...omgosh...i see some Houstonians have been accepted and I see the high gpa and i am think crap!!!. So i nervously login into my student account with only one eye open;)...literally...and I see CONGRATULATIONS ACCEPTANCE SPRING 2010!!! So I run to the bedroom and turn the lights on with out a care and woke up my husband..."i got in i got in" He looks stunned and says "well what does it say!" I say, "i dunno, i didnt finish reading it" so we both come over to the computer and read the letter and I open both attachments to be sure i was reading right. I told him " i think i am gonna be sick!" :imbarMy stomach was so knotted up because of my excitement, i seriously could feel some food wanting to purge. But I took a couple deep breaths and relax...I am so excited!!! So since registration is soon what are the schedules looking like? Will be meeting with advisors first? I have no clue what to take and when...omgosh I am so nervous!!! YIKES

Congrats to all that have been accepted!!!! I think i am going to be sick:imbar until I know. I have try checking my email but there is some type of error so I cant log in.UGGGGGGGGhhh the horror. What a horrible Halloween trick, :devil:not letting me log in... Even if I did not get an email I want the ability to ridiculously check my email account...oh blah.... Well I am for the Houston program so anyone for this program post when you hear your news. As far as this critical thinking I am not sure I even took this portion. I can't remember it was so long ago. I took it back in May then left for Basic Combat Training over the entire summer. So after all that stress and now coming home to get my home life in order, i really dont remember much about that test. Oh please I hope i did good.

Thanks...i need to get in soon cause I dont want take AP and Micro over again. My classes are at the 5 year mark and TWU will start requiring those course to be less than 5 starting in the fall of 2010, I believe.

if you are referring to me I am hoping for the regular Houston program. I read on the website that the Houston location is no longer doing fasttrack, so i am unsure if this means 2009 was their last class for fast track.

Okay I have been lurking this thread for a while now and forgot my login. I was hesitant to comment because I find it more nerve wrecking for me, but I couldnt resist. So I have been anticipating just like everyone else on here. There is so much confusion of what will happen as far as acceptance/rejection letters/emails. I sent an email on Monday and the response I got was "Please continue checking your TWU email address for any questions/concerns that TWU CON may have regarding your application. Otherwise, decision letters will be sent out by the first week of November." My question was asking when we would find out any status because I want to use my VA benefits and want to get that process started ASAP cause I dont know how long it would take. I was hoping to get a clearer answer using that but nope nothing different from what we have already be hearing and reading on this thread. SO I have been gone all summer and didnt agonize like everyone else, but this last few weeks have been soooooooooo long. anyhow good luck everyone!!!

Hi everyone in regards to the HESI you must register for the test. Go to this link http://www.twu.edu/nursing/prometric_exam_eligibility_040309.pdf Follow the steps and then they will email you an ID number. Once you get your ID number through email with a link to the testing website. Click on it register using the ID number they emailed you. The scores have to be submitted to the CON Denton Campus by September 1st. These are things I have been told by TWU via email. HOPE it helps
