  1. Hello. I am a first year Nursing Student in my second quarter of studies. I begin my med surg clinical rotations next week and am looking for advice on a book to help with care plans. Is there a certain book that is better than the rest? Thanks in advance for your assistance :)
  2. Get a solid, stable shoe. Peel back the insole and make sure whatever is under the insole is HARD for support. If it is just soft material it will not support you. Then buy Powerstep orthotics to replace the insoles that come with the shoe. I worked 12 hour shift on concrete and this really works. Before i did this my feet hurt 30 minutes into my shift. 3. Go back to school and become an NP, CRNA or Nursing Teacher or something. Maybe you just need a change of settings.
  4. Hello. I will soon be enrolling in a nursing program which requires many vaccines. Is there any way I can refuse to take these vaccines due to health and religious concerns? Thank you.
  5. Hello. I was recently researching the leading causes of death in the United States and found respiratory issues as one of the top five. This made me wonder what CRNA's are exposed to in their work environment. Do CRNA's inhale or work with known carcinogens? Are you exposed to any other dangers such as radiation? Do you feel safe in your work environment or do you worry you may develop health complications from the substances you are exposed to? I ask because I am a nursing student who is considering a career as a CRNA and my health is very important to me. Thank you.
