I haven't heard any of you mention Georgia highlands. Check them out. They have a worksheets you complete and they take the highest 120ish scores. If you have decent grades in math engl and sciences you will get in. I just graduated. Getting in is semi-competitive. The program itself is hard as crap, but I felt well prepared for nclex and passed first time. Seriously, I had two c's on my worksheet...consider it!

I passed. Praise be to GOD! My results never went up bc the bon had my name as my Pearsonvue login id???how did I ever even get an att, we will never know. But God is good and I passed. Also if you feel like Teresa something wrong, there prob is. After I begged two diff women to check my application they finally did, and they couldn't even find me in the system! Imagine if id given them the 30 days they have?? I had to fax over verification of my name. And now its the waiting game on them. I don't get to start my job on time the good news is pvt works and god never forsakes you. The bad news is bon are not in a rush for you.

Ok update! I passed!!! My license never posted bc they had my applicant name as my login is for Pearsonvue. How did I even get an att. I had to fax over my identity. It could be a couple weeks til I get a license, but praise god I passed. And if you feel like somethings wrong, then somethings prob wrong. Don't take the bologna we have up to 30 days story. I knew there was a reason all my friend went up and mine didn't, I had to call twice and beg for bon to check my application. And lo and behold they couldn't even find me!!! Makes no sense that my att was correct. Oh well, I passed!!! All praise is to you God.

Ok my results aren't up on Pearsonvue and its been 48 hours. they gave me some bull crap story ab business hours and it be Monday???? I room them Wed at 145pm and wait to Monday????I can't catch a break. my friends have their licenses posted and I can't even get my unofficial results. I'm so bummed out.

The poll results say it didn't work for 2%...do we know if that 2% got the cc page or the good pop up.

My stories a little diff, ill post in 2-3 hours with the ending. I've had good POP up for two days. I took the test with two friends June 1, 24 hours their license was on the net...mine wasn't. So I checked my status of ny application and under " passing nclex results it said completed" and yesterdays date. U got exciting thinking first thing this morning is see my name, nothing tho. So I called my bon and said it says I have passing results, Lo and behold that just means they have your results. If they had time to water that yesterday then they had time to enter my result. I would love to think "my file may not be complete, but it is I'm narcotic and meticulous. So why do I still have the passing pop up, I'm prob the exception. I know one thing thinking you passed and then failing is a terrible feeling. I will update shortly. Please pray for me I have a family of 6 to provide for and. Job on the line

However when I checked my application status with my bon it said completed passsing nclex results. Called bon and they said this just means they have my results. I'm thinking if they had time to put that in, had I passed I would have had a license listed as well. I'm not missing paperwork, no bad background,so they'd have no reason to hold it. I will fins out today around 2-4 through quickresulsts. I know this, getting a good POP up and thinking you passed and then failing is worse ygM a bad POP up and confirming it.

hey dan, sorry it has taken me so long to post on here. i just had a baby(ten and a half pounds), im tired lol. ok about nursing, yes it expensive and overwelming. I just ordered a lot of them off of amazon and spent like 400 in comparison to the 1200. You will need immediately, your fundamentals of nursing book w the cd's, health assessment book with the cd, assessment kit, and maybe the medical dictionary. I looked them up at the bookstore and then bought them off amazon. On amazon i got, health assessment, fundamentals, med-surg, pharmacology, mosbys drug guide, and the book that helps with nursing diagnosis( i forget the name)...anyways, i got all of that for $400.00. I understand completely if you cant shell out that kind of money, if not just start with the basics...you will need pharmacology shortly after school starts though. As for the rest of the books there helpful but definetly only reccomendations. Good luck and congrats. Ashley

rooners, This is actually baby number three for me. I dont know why hes late, my others wernt. Its awful though. They said his spine is to my spine and they thinks it has something to do with me not going inot labor, and all of the extreme back pain. Ill be glad to get him out and start focusing. your non-traditional comment is hilarious by the way, but please dont call yourself old again...i have three kids at 24, i too will be there soon. As soon as i type up the vocab i will send it your way. have you started the shot sequence yet? i dont know if im allowed since ill be nursing?? and i think i only have to do one tb test since i had a stacked test last year? i dont know though im confused. I just sent off my pic and letter today. I made it until the fourth test. i did one day of clinicals. Thats right about when i met my husband and threw the semester away. its been worth it though. im glad we will be in a smaller class for a year, i learn better that way.

congrats rooners77 and cclaudine! i hope more classmates log onto here so we can talk to each other about what all is going on. im so flipping excited i cant stand it. now if i could get this baby out of me (im 40 weeks pregnant), id start cracking down. Im already starting to work on vocab and basic skills such as bp. let me know if you would like my vocab, im going to type it up.yay!~!~
