We moved from the Bay area in CA to NC and recently purchased a home in North Durham which is close to Duke. House prices are resonable certainly compared to prices of homes in CA. I know there are couple of homes for sale in our subdivision, Autumn Ridge and there is another subdivision we looked at up the street which is called Ashfield place and had a few new homes for sale. All the best in your search. NC is different from CA but I do like it here. I used to live in Los Angeles myself.

Hi everyone - I recently moved to NC and I intend to apply in Jan 2010 to get in May 2010 but would like to find out where I can take my prerequisites as it appears that I have to do that before I put my application in. I do have an undergraduate degree in Chemistry and also did a certificate course in Applied biology - both of which are not from the US. I have since obtained a MSc in HCM from CALSTATE LA. Any other advice would be useful in terms of planning the process. Thanks
