  1. I feel the same way. I'm currently finishing off the last of my prerequisites (and my school requires 60 credit hours of prereqs), so you can imagine how relieved and ready I am to be done with it all. My university only looks at the prerequisite GPA of its applicants and accepts those with the highest GPA's, with a cut off in the 3.4-3.6 range. I am right in the middle, and getting into nursing school is all I can think about! I have felt very anxious lately because I just want to find out if I'm in, so that I can have a light at the end of this long pre-req-filled tunnel! We are supposed to get our acceptance/rejection letters around late October/early November, and it seems that every day just can't go by fast enough!
  2. I was told by my two classmates in A&P II (both were accepted) and someone from the Nursing office that the cut-off was in the 3.4 range last semester.
  3. Actually, I was told by a few of my classmates that the cut-off GPA for the regular BSN was a 3.47 when they were accepted last semester.

Does LSU look at the cumulative college GPA or the degree prerequisite GPA for the BSN program? Just curious, because my prerequisite GPA is a lot higher than my cumulative.
