  1. Thank you so much for the reply. Lastly, I still have to verify with NC state board the need for English Proficiency as part of their requirements for NCLEX application aside from the CES. I am not sure if IELTS is applicable for US citizen educated outside US.
  2. Hi, I would like to seek help from this forum. I am a US citizen educated in the Phils. I do not hold a Phils. RN license. I am applying for CES as required by North Carolina BON. Would you know if a CES report will be process without the Phils license? Do I still need to take an English Proficiency exam like IELTS for NCLEX eligibility as a per NC requirements? I hope somebody could enlightened my mind with this NCLEX and CES application.
  3. Hi there.. i'm glad to have read this thread. I had a hard time searching for info about the license validation for CES in CGFNS website. I'm a US citizen but I completed a nursing course in the Philippines. I am applying for CES and have found the " REquest for License Validation form ". I do not hold a license in the Philippines. I asked the North Carolina BON about the need for RN license in the Phils for NCLEX application and they said they don't require it. But CGFNS-CES has the form for it. They directed me to CGFNS about the license due to my concern that CGFNS won't process the CES report without the Phils. license. It will really put me in a big trouble because I'm already in the US. Will CGFNS process a CES report without the license? Your response will be highly appreciated. Thank you so much.

  6. hi, I also wanted to apply for Saudi rather than to continue working here in Manila. Would it be possible to go directly to SRO to apply as a nurse in KSA? Would SRO and POEA accept applicants with less than a year of experience but currently employed?

hi, can you please give me an idea how to apply for Saudi? I heard about the SRO, is that the one located in Makati?, i just can,t remember the address and the building where it is located. can you give their address so I could drop by. I would like to try luck in Middle East since my agency in New York gave the go signal for me to do so while waiting. I would rather work in Middle east country than to waste time working here with a low paying job.
  9. its a GC, i completed the DS-230 form here in the Philippines, and it was filed in US.
  10. it's a GC, im just confused, i completed the DS-230 which is the application for Immigrant Visa here in the Phils. it was brought to New York by my sponsor since by then VSC was not yet released.
  11. I agree to that it's such a lottery to get the h1B Visa. Just pray dat you will be one of the recipient. and dats wat im doing right now, really, praying so hard. my sponsor even told me that I was lucky enough my application was chosen among the applicants presented to the hospital director, knowing i dont have hospital experience and was in the Phils. I want to get out of Phils soon.. No hopes here, I've been a Phils RN for 3 years but as a company nurse. It's hard to land a job as full time staff nurse. I only got volunteer experiences in the hospital. Will it play a big deal to get the H1B visa? My employer did not require me to have an experience either.. After I passed the nclex and ielts in 2008, i already signed the contract Nov. '08 with a new york agency. My visa screen certificate was sent to their office address in new york, and then they filed the completed DS-230 form to USCIS. I can't wait anymore to be in New York, hope so visa will be granted soon..
