Go for it! I waited 30 years with excuses and finally decided to just do it and see where it took me. My fear was math, and I started and quit twice before I finally sat down to face my fear and get through it, I ended up with an A. Then each class I took with the same attitude and made sure I could put the time in to study. All the pre-req's are done! I am now waiting for my letter to hopefully start nursing school this fall. If you can make a way I'd say do it...

I just wanted to encourage you that you are never to old and that it takes what it takes to have the job of your dreams... I am 51, I first applied for nursing after high school but it took me nearly 30 years to go back and finish my pre-req's. Then I couldn't arrange the finances to even get into nursing. It took me several more years to do that and now I am waiting for news if I get in this fall. Never give up... it may seem like it takes forever but it is worth it!
