Hi all, I have been in Florida for a couple weeks. I needed that last bit of rest and relaxation before going back to hitting the books. It's so exciting to be preparing for everything. Already tried the appeal. Wrote an in-depth letter and had it put in my file for their consideration. I did average on science (but rocked math and verbal). Tried everything. This is final. I have a lot of thinking to do though. Can I ask everyone who knows about and has been to LICHSON and BI to give me their advice on the two schools? -also, offered to take their review course, take classes online, and even re-take the NLN to show them i can rock it out. I'm 27. I go back and forth. I want to get it done in 2 years, but then I really do not want to go to LICHSON. It was just my backup. I have a week or so to weigh the pros and cons and make up my mind before the LICHSON deadline. I'm very much between a rock and a hard place. BI was my goal, but I don't know what to do.

Thanks Lily. I am moving in August. I have to make the final decision about BI. I applied for the 2-yr program, but was accepted into the 3-yr because I haven't had science in 10 years. Which program are you doing?

wow. spoke too soon. Just got an email telling me I was accepted. I'm speechless right now.

meytal - what did you get on the NLN again? Also, what program did you get accepted to?

Hey all! congrats meytal and lily. I am also waiting to hear after my interview. TripleA - that sucks. I am screwed if I have to do a second interview. I am in Chicago and it cost me $500 just to fly in at the last minute last week. I'm also working. Also, LICHSON needs an answer by July 1st. I tried calling a few times today. No success there. Also tried emailing. Haven't heard anything yet.

How is everyone doing? Any news? I had my interview last week. It seemed to go pretty well. I am told that I will find out officially this week (because I have to let LICHSON know if I will be attending their program). Apparently the committee is meeting again Monday or Tuesday.

:heartbeat:heartbeatHi all, I've been out of town and away from the internet for a few days. I'm about to get on my flight to come for my interview tomorrow. You may not know, but I'm from Chicago (by way of Los Angeles). So, I'll be coming tonight and leaving tomorrow after my interview. I went back to page 6 of this thread and clicked on the link to a thread from a couple of years ago that talks a lot about what they ask at the interview. I feel pretty prepared. I really hope that they don't ask me to change the program I picked (2-yr traditional). We'll see. Anyho, I'll chat with you all over the weekend. :nuke:
