I always feel awful walking out of exams. I am thinking back on some questions I remember and I am sure I got those right. There are others though where I had to practially guess as it pertained to things I don't recall or wasn't taught. Its just that I have the job of a lifetime waiting for me Friday at my final interview and I am not sure how to tell them I failed and if they'd even want me knowing I did and waiting for me to pass.

Hi all, So I KNOW they PVT works if you pass - no question -not what I am asking :) Just wondering if its possible to have passed and still get to the CC screen?? I had 77 q's....SATA, priority and 2 math and I tried the PVT and got to the CC screen. Has anyone gotten to the CC screen but still PASSED??

Hi ! Doing a paper for a myocardial infarction and when I abbreviate it to MI, is it preceded by A or AN. When I type it out, I want to write the patient had an MI rather that the patient had a MI. What is correct??

I have been out of school and working in an Assisted Living facility for 5 years. I want to got back fro my RN ( Im an LPN) but I am afraid I am going to be rusty and have forgotten many things that I don't have or use daily. Any suggestions? Are there any books or courses to help?

I got my license! The Il Professional Regulation stated that one misdemeanor will not hinder a license or go to the board - it went to a liaison and they issued from there!

Oh no Tiger! I really hope the person I spoke to today is right. She (@ the IL Board of Professional Regulations) said since I have a small incident on my background report that it will not even go to the board. It will instead be picked up by a board liaison and sent on for processing. Now I am totally confused!

I also was wondering if the BON has their meetings every other month? I cannot find info on that and I assume at the next meeting is the soonest any movement will be made in my case

I passed my NCLEX for LPN and sent in my application for licensure. I received a letter yesterday stating due to a criminal matter from 20 years ago, I need to send in the legal filings for that case as well as a letter in my own words of why this occurred. I mailed it all in today and am wondering could the board of Prof Regulation still deny me? It was a shoplifting incident that occurred when I was 18. I am now 38! I am so scared that after working so hard this one time incident will throw my nursing career a curveball and I won't be allowed to practice. If they DO approve me, how long does it take to get the license???? I have a job lined up and they said they cannot legally hire me without my license number! Any thoughts??

Well on my Nursing transcript, those are the only two scores that appear . My highest overall adjusted score was only 82.3 so I would definitely concentrate on the reading and composition :)

I took the TEAS 3 times - they use your highest score. I was accepted with a 93 in Reading and 88 in composition. Those are the scores they look at.

Thank you. Unfortunately yes, that is the DX I was assigned. That may be why I am having so many issues. This is supposed to relate to a post patrum mother. Too late for me now, but Princessa did you ever get caught?? What kills me is there are people like who worked for 12 years, lost their job and went to school but yet they lose their benefits. There are 3 students in my class that still get their benefits and were working in an office just as I was - nothing different. Its just not fair. Thanks for your replies:)

Anyone have any creative or theraputic interventions for a child postop with an appendectomy? I hate to give the child all of the interventions that I would use for an adult . Plus we are encouraged to orientate this towards the school age child. I am going blank here. The best I can come up with the to watch the balls in the spirometer !
