  15. is it easy to follow the math dosage class online? i never took a math class online and i am a little scare about taking it online especially knowing that i must get above an 85% in order to pass the class.
  16. I took the CPR class at BMCC. I would not like to take this class online. I think the online class might be difficult because when it come to math dosage one always have a question. Are you planning to take it online?

You won't be able to reg. without taking that class. Also would you happen to know if they are still interviewing for the spring semester? My friend is still waiting for an interview. 18. Hello everyone, do anyone knows where in the city clinical are held?
  19. go to the school website to find out or call the school.
  20. I start in Jan. However, I heard the Sat schedule was really good. Thanks for you advice.
  21. I am going to be in the Sat. program. How about you? I took the math dosage class at bmcc and got an -A, however, I also want to buy the book this week to start studying because they are not accepting the class from another school. if your schedule is flexable maybe we can study together. I am sure you are going to get accepted too.
  22. I am not sure. It took about 3 month for them to let me know I was accepted. Everyone is different. Try not to worry.
  23. hi, i been reading the posting and i was surprised with most of the responses. jenova's angel, you need to be more confident of yourself you are and rn meaning that you should be thinking like a professional and be more optimistic. in contrary to what nursecubanitarn2b said, i understood exactly what you were trying to say. on the other hand, i got lost when nursecubanitarn2b was giving her opinion in the matter. no offense. my advice to you is if you want to work in a hospital setting fight for it. don't give up. go personally to the hospital and offer your time and demonstrate how capable you are. think like if you are already working there. you will see that sooner or later you will get your wish. nurses are wanted all over the world including hospitals. i can tell you this because i work as an auditor for new york presbyterian hospital. and sometime they prefer to hire someone with no experience. i have a bs in accounting. now i am going for my 2nd degree in nursing. i should be starting my clinical in jan. however, everyone told me how hard it will be and not to get into that profession. whatever, whatever! i did what my heart desired. i don't know about ca but in nyc 30 out of 1000s students get in the program each year. guess what, i am in and it's not because i am smarter. i got in because i am persistent. i set a goal. if you made it through the clinical, i don't see why you won't be able to find a job in a hospital. don't allow anyone influence my goals. concentrate on what you want and you will get it. you should read the secret.
  24. They only look at the pre reqs for GPA average. So you still have a chance of getting in. Have you taken some of your pre-reqs? You 1st need to take A&P1 and 2 before you can apply to the school. I also recommand that you take Mirco before getting in. That class is extremely hard. However, there are some people that take it while they are attending clinicals. As for the Teas, there are different scores for different section on the Teas. They stated that reading and math was very important. I also remember that I scored above a 90% in those areas, however, I don't remember my over all individual score. Sorry, I took this exam back in Feb. The interview was quick and they ask the general questions. why you want to go to there school? Why you want to get into nursing? What are your weak and strong points? I don't remember what else they asked.
