Actually, there are 2 interviews; initial interview by HR and by the hospital which will offer us a placement or the HR herself for the second time. With regard to experience, as far I know, they need at least a year of experience but Farah24 did it even she had only 6 months experience...well just verify it for confirmation... you can apply here....http://www.ramsayjobs.com.au/overseas/iron.asp GOODLUCK

Its actually the good standing- you can request it direct from PRC (no NBV form needed) , and request them to send it out to NBV either by mail or courrier if your in a hurry....

New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand
Hi aelith! I have an enquiry, are we allow for a student visa? Last time, when I ask one of the course provider, they allow only visa 456, and I dont know others. As I understand, student visa is for study course of more than 6 months. Although if you read the description of 456 visa- generally, we are not allowed to work unless highly specialized and non-ongoing. I didnt understand this, so I asked dimia- unfortunately, they cant give examples unless if I am already in.

hi unadunad, sorry the website disallow me to reply any private messages yet. As to your enquiry, I am not decided yet as to where I will do my bridging course. I have applied at Ramsay health, and still waiting for the result. Goodluck for your IELTS. Keep me posted then.

QLD is one of my favorite state- I was there last 2006. It is clean and green- such a lovely place to live in. They have a cheaper cost of study, but again you can read my reason in my previous post of why not QNC anymore. I aready applied at Ramsay health, just waiting for the outcome- I think I have an idea already of what will they say as u mentioned. Well, let see what I can do in Victoria anyway. Thanks for your information

How I wish I can apply right away,Ryan, but the problem is the money. I am monitoring also the Aus dollar- its 36 pesos/dollar right now as compared last feb and march (30 pesos/dollar). It will just be a fortune now if I will be in at Ramsay health. Otherwise etea, ballarat and victoria are also my options. I have my friend in Melbourne rang all other institution referred in our letter but most of them she said is not offering the course now- but not sure with this. Have you tried ringing them as well? is it true? What other institution do you know offering less than 10 thou? thanks

Hi chabeli, I applied in victoria last March 22 and was notified receipt a week after by phone. I was able to monitor the status of my papers by phone a month after. A family friend in Melbourne received my eligibility last may 13. I used their address for quick receipt of papers and will just communicate with them by phone or email. Anyway, I can just request them to post it anywhere as needed. I was eligible in for CAS in QLD before, but I chose the modules for I have no idea of the exam. I quitted for I thought it will take me a long time to finish evrything. Its too late for me to know the excellent suggestions of people in this thread. Cheers.

to nykhouston....thats the advantage of having this thread, people with experience in application in any nursing board can help anyone who needs it...the manner of certification is important like you did as they are very strict with that. Most of the state has systematic process. If I were you , you can ring them to know the progress of your papers especially early in their opening hour to avoid so much queue, that's if you were told 30 days after. And you will just realized, that our mailing here is actually the snail and you just have to check on it. It is an advantage if you have a friend or relative in Australia since you can use their address instead for quicker receipt of doc. Posting by mail is usually received within 3 to 7 days in Australia wide.
