Does anyone know about the accreditation of IUON. I know that the US affiliated schools are accredited and i know that the IUON is accredited by the carribean, but is that going to become a problem when trying to get a job in the states with not getting training in a US accredited school??

you are going to IUON now? I have heard both good and bad things...with my GPA, it will take me forever to get into a program in the states. its not bad, but it would take forever. i am taking most of my gen eds and pre reqs here in the states. How do you get accepted into the states for clinicals?? Is it an automatic thing?

Hello!! I definately have some questions about IUON that i need some answers too. 1. How does the process work for the clinicals when you come back to the states? Do you have to apply for the school (lets say colorado) or are you already accepted and ready to start? 2. Was crime a big issue? 3. Do you know why it is easier to get into IUON than any other nursing program? 4. What is the weather like? 5. How can you get around? Is there a way to get your own car or is taking the bus much easier? 6. Was it relatively expensive? (Im going for the BSN) 7. What are the class sizes like? Small/Big, Lectures/hands on, etc. If there is anything else you would be willing to share with me that would be great!! thank you so much for offering information on your experience. it is really a stress reliever to have an insiders view on things... THANKS AGAIN!!! --Amber
