hi, i have a question about visa screen... i have an employer who is willing to hire me... my application for I-140 is about to be filed.. when will the visa screen be needed? do i have to apply now or wait for the approval of the I-140? thanks.

hi, im from the philippines, my husband and i passed the ca nclex-rn last december and now we are here in california. we already talked to an employer and is asking us if we already have license. we said we already passed the nclex and license will be given once we are able to present an ssn. we also went to SSA and is applying for a SSn and presented the letter we received from BON... the officer said that that we should be staying in us for 2 weeks before we can be issued a number so we'll be back on monday. the ssn that will be given is not for work. my question is what are our chances of getting a ssn? also is there anyway that our petition be filed even if we still don't have the license yet and just have the letter from BON saying that we passed nclex-rn? thanks
