  1. I'm in an ADN program at Northampton CC in Pa. I CLEP'ed out of English I and II and Sociology. Saved about 1000.00 and LOTS of time. The ARMY paid for the test's so it was free as well. I have no idea why people take courses they have no interest in taking rather than CLEP'ing them and doing what they really need to do, like A&P, Chem, Micro, etc.... It's your time waste it any way you like.
  2. Hi Sue, I've got the Mon nite lab. I'm just finishing up A&PII this semester. So you're the next one to flee Jersey huh? Good move, thats a tough place to live, crowded, expensive, etc... Congratulations on gettin' in! Look forward to seeing you. Pete
  3. My name's Pete, and I just got accepted to the ADN program at Northampton CC. I start clinicals in Jan. For the past two years I've been taking all the Gen Ed courses, and I have only Micro and a Philosophy course left to complete. Plan to do those in Summer. I'm 45 yrs old and work full time. I'm in the nights and weekends program offered at NCC. I'm and EMT, and I spent 5 years as a Army medic. I'm really looking forward to the clinical program, and I was wondering if anyone else here was already in the program at NCC, or a recent grad. Just looking to get a heads up from you, words of wisdom, and all that. I've been lurking here for a week or so, lots of good general info, and it's interesting to read some of the complaints and "inside baseball" stuff about the job. Looking forward to chatting with you all.
